Juice it Up expects to reveal a new restaurant redesign at its Costa Mesa flagship this summer that’s aimed at keeping guests there longer and streamlining the ordering process.

The Irvine-based company said Costa Mesa will be the first to have the new store design, which boasts a refreshed logo and creative, seating, an Instagrammable wall, updated menu and a dedicated pick-up counter for mobile orders.

Juice It Up sells juices, smoothies and acai bowls across nearly 100 locations, with 14 of those in Orange County.

The company-owned location will also be the site for research and development and a training center for franchisees.

A similarly-designed location in Rialto is also in development, although an opening date there has not yet been set.

The company, which turned 25 this year, has plans to continue expanding in the West.

Juice It Up is owned by SJB Brands LLC, which is a partnership among Dover Shores Capital, Britt Private Capital and Jupiter Holdings, all in Newport Beach. The group acquired the chain in 2018.
