Alteryx Inc. (NYSE: AYX) in Irvine was 5.6% higher to $127.08 and an $8.3 billion market cap. The data analytics software maker will report fourth quarter results on Feb. 13. Alteryx last quarter earned 24 cents a share, beating the consensus EPS estimate of 9 cents; projections for the current quarter average 29 cents.
Five Point Holdings LLC (NYSEL: FPH) in Irvine climbed 8.6% to $7.93 and a $1.2 billion market cap, in a second day of increases following the master planned developer’s sale of homesites at its North L.A. County project dubbed Valencia. Shares in the company, the driving force behind Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, have risen more than 20% this week.
KushCo Holdings Inc. (OTC: KSHB) in Cypress jumped 8.6% to $1.76 and a $189 million market cap. The cannabis products packaging maker’s shares were flat in early trading and jumped on higher volume by mid-morning. Shares are up about 17% in the last week.
Irvine-based dental laser maker Biolase Inc. (Nasdaq: BIOL) rose 8.7% to 64 cents and a $20 million market cap. Shares are up about 12% on the week, following last week’s Zack’s share upgrade to hold, and Dougherty & Co. saying the company’s loss will be narrower this fiscal year; Biolase presented recently at a Dougherty conference.
