The yield on a 10-year Treasury was down 2.9% to 0.7%.
OC restaurants were generally down, with the biggest mover being Lake Forest-based Del Taco Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: TACO), off 6.2% to $8.55 for a market cap of $321 million. Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. (NYSE: CMG) of Newport Beach fell 0.8% to $1,185.68 with a market cap of $33.2 billion. Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: LOCO) was off 0.6% to $17.36 for a market cap of $623.2 million. Kura Sushi USA Inc. (Nasdaq: KRUS) of Irvine was down 0.7% to $11.98 for a market cap of $99.9 million.
Medical device makers were trading down. Staar Surgical Company (Nasdaq: STAA) of Lake Forest was down 1.9% to $46.73 with a market cap of $2.1 billion. San Clemente-based ICU Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: ICUI) was off 1.8% to $185.54 for a market cap of $3.9 billion. Irvine-based Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW), OC’s largest publicly-traded company, was down 1.5% to $78.25 for a market cap of $48.7 billion.
