Renaissance ClubSport has moved its gym facilities outdoors

Renaissance ClubSport said it’s moved its gym facilities outdoors, working around the state’s restrictions on indoor operations of fitness centers, restaurants, malls and other businesses.

The Aliso Viejo property, which is also part of a 174-room hotel, said its equipment, classes, pool, outdoor massages via the ClubSport Spa, restaurant and childcare facilities are all in operation outside. More than 30 classes are currently being offered outdoors by reservation. Equipment placement for users across the property allows for social distancing.

ClubSport also revamped the bottom floor of the gym’s parking structure to be dedicated to strength training workouts and is now calling that area The Garage.

The on-site Citrus Fresh Grill restaurant is also operating for to-go orders or outdoor dining.

Staffers have been instructed to clean equipment before and after use, in addition to cleaning of common areas in line with state guidelines.
