Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) recently got FDA approval of its ForeSight tissue oximetry device.
ForeSight measures oxygenation of brain tissue.
Corporate Vice President of Critical Care Katie Szyman told the Business Journal a benefit of the product includes giving clinicians “valuable patient insights” by “understanding the relationship between the heart and the brain.”
Edwards is the largest publicly traded company based in Orange County with a market cap of about $47 billion.
