CalAmp Corp. (Nasdaq: CAMP) in Irvine was down 5.4% to $13.82 and a $430 million market cap. The telematics software maker reported fourth quarter revenue of $84.4 million, down 11% year-over-year and missing analysts’ expectations. It guided first quarter revenue to between $84.5 million and $89.5 million—which would be a decline from the year-ago period of $94.9 million and lower than the $91 million analysts have been expecting. Net income was $11.3 million, up from a $4.8 million loss in the same period last year on positive results of a patent case which enabled reversal of a $16.3 million accounting provision for litigation from the same period last year.
Habit Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT) was up 2.3% to $10.90 and a $284 million market cap. The fast casual burger chain reports results after markets close today.
