ChromaDex Corp. (Nasdaq: CDXC) in Irvine was up 8% to $3.46 and a $190 million market cap. The nutritional ingredients maker reported study results showing “significant and enduring physiological benefits” of its flagship product “to mothers and offspring” as a supplement during breastfeeding.
Bridgford Foods Corp. (Nasdaq: BRID) in Anaheim fell 13% to $28.44 and a $258 million market cap. The food product maker’s shares, which are majority-owned by family holders and thinly traded, are up 50% in January.
