Shares of Irvine-based HCP Inc. (NYSE: HCP) increased 1.2% to $31.11 for a $15.1 billion market cap. Yesterday, the company announced fourth quarter funds from operations of $202.1 million, or 43 cents per share, meeting the consensus estimate.
Urovant Sciences Ltd. (Nasdaq: UROV) jumped 5.7% to $9.60 for a $291 million market cap. The Irvine-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, which reported third-quarter results yesterday, said it is making progress on several clinical programs for vibegron, a treatment for adults with overactive bladder. It plans to release topline data from its international Phase 3 trial for vibegron by the end of March.
