Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) increased 2.6% to 112.70 and $24 billion market cap. A Zacks analyst report today said it is “encouraged by the company’s long-term growth strategy and its recent progress in technology pipeline.” Shares of Edwards, an Irvine-based maker of heart valves, have climbed 11% since a Nov. 2, selloff following Edwards’ 3Q earnings shortfall—largely due to natural-disaster disruptions to operations in Puerto Rico, Florida and Houston.
Kush Bottles Inc. (OTC: KSHB) dropped 7.9% to $2.80 and a $164 million market cap. The maker of paraphernalia for cannabis products is scheduled to report fourth quarter results today after the markets close. The shares had soared 66% in the past month before today.
