Willdan Group (WLDN) of Anaheim rose 6% to $35.66 and a $307 million market cap. The provider of technical and consulting services last week reported second-quarter contract revenue rose 22% to $71.8 million and income from operations climbed 15% to $4.6 million. Its shares have increased more than three-fold in the past year.
TECHNOLOGY Costa Mesa’s TTM Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: TTMI) increased 5.1% to $14.06 and a $1.4 billion market cap. Shares fell 19% on Aug. 3 after it forecast a slower start than normal for the third quarter in the seasonal ramp-up of cellular products.
Newport Beach’s William Lyon Homes (NYSE: WLH) declined 4.9% to $22.55 and a $720 million market cap. The homebuilder reported second-quarter homebuilding revenue rose 30% and net income climbed 29%. Volume of 435,000 was twice its daily average.
