Orange County homebuilders were up ahead of the release today of minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve Board of Governors meeting in March, which are expected to shed light on the Fed’s thoughts on how quickly to raise interest rates.

Newport Beach-based William Lyon Homes was up 5.3% to $15.04 and a $487 million market cap. Aliso Viejo-based New Home Co. Inc. was up 2.8% to $11.98 and a $246 million market cap.
