The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.1% to 17,734.86.

The Nasdaq was down 0.3% to 5,082.84.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was flat at 2.34%.

The price of gold was down 0.3% to $1,085.


Irvine-based Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. was down 4.2% to $18.92 and a $1.2 billion market cap. Analysts at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey downgraded shares in the healthcare facilities owner to “neutral.”


Irvine-based Boot Barn Holdings Inc. was down 13.8% to $12.77 and a $333 million market cap. The western wear retailer reported a quarterly loss of $3.3 million yesterday on revenue of $129.7 million. Boot Barn showed a profit on slightly higher earnings for the same period last year. One analyst downgraded its shares to "hold" but one maintained a "buy" rating and a $25 price target.
