The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was unchanged at 2.36%.
The price of gold declined 0.5% to $1,157.
San Clemente-based device maker ICU Medical Inc. is up 3.6% to $83.75 to a market cap of $1.3 billion on a second analyst upgrade in two days. Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis upgraded ICUI from “neutral” to “overweight” following Roth Capital Partners in Newport Beach moving from “hold” to “buy.” ICUI was up 12.6% at yesterday’s close on its full-year earnings-per-share estimates and well-received quarterly numbers.
Irvine-based computer memory products maker Netlist Inc. was up 17.3% to 87 cents and a market cap of $36 million. It reported third quarter revenues of $4.8 million compared with $4.3 million in the same period last year and gross profit was $1.1 million compared with $400,000 and net losses year-over-year were comparable on a per-share basis.
