Sixteen brands within the action sports industry were recognized by their peers Thursday night at the annual Image Awards put on by Aliso Viejo trade association Surf Industry Manufacturers Association.
The 16, many of them Orange County-based brands, beat out some 80 nominees for awards in multiple categories ranging from best breakout brand of the year to women’s marketing campaign of the year.
The event drew more than 700 workers from apparel companies and retailer along with press to City National Grove of Anaheim.
