A $15 million renovation of the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is now complete.

Work on the 407-room hotel, which is owned by Aliso Viejo-based Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc., began late last year and included remodels of all guest rooms, incorporating a beach house theme, along with two new suites.

The hotel also added a new lounge seating area in its lobby and created three pool areas for guests named Oasis, Serenity and Indulge.

The SHOR American Seafood Grill restaurant opened earlier this year.
