Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco Inc. confirmed it has begun an agency review for its general market and Hispanic advertising business.

The announcement follows news that the grilled chicken chain, which is owned by Costa Mesa-based EPL Intermediate Inc., split with Hollywood-based ad agency goodness Mfg.
