Aliso Viejo’s Fluor Corp. has won a $690 million engineering deal to be split with its Mexican partner, the company said Thursday.
The partnership, known as ICA Fluor, will build a water treatment plant and integrate operations at the Lazaro Cardenas refining complex in Veracruz, according to the contract.
The refinery is operated by Pemex Refinacion, a unit of Mexico’s state-owned oil company Pemex.
The project is set to be completed by the end of 2008. Fluor booked its 50% share of the contract in the fourth quarter.
ICA Fluor was founded in 1947.
