Orange County’s United Way announced a $25 million fundraising goal for this year, and said it will move from funding single-service providers creating agency collaborations and partnerships to address community needs.
The group also announced 26 collaborative projects in areas including affordable childcare, emergency services for families, heart disease prevention and intervention, as well as job development and placement programs.
“We will closely monitor our partnerships to ensure we are achieving measurable results,” said the OC chairman, Tom Rogers.
