Irvine based TV maker and media company Vizio Holding Corp. (NYSE: Vizio) fell 9% to $7.75 apiece for a market cap of $1.5 billion. The shares, which hit a new yearly low of $7.56 on Monday, have lost much of the ground gained yesterday when shares reached $8.63. Shares are off about 21% in the past month.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) was off 5.8% to $36.89 and a $32.8 billion market cap. Shares have been on the decline in the past week as EV makers struggle with battery supply issues. Piper Sandler on Monday maintained its overweight rating on Rivian shares and lowered the company’s price target to $112. Shares are currently trading at about 40% of their typical volume. Â
