Grupo Gallegos in Huntington Beach made Advertising Age’s “Agencies to Watch” List.
“It has been a remarkable year for Grupo Gallegos,” said agency Founder and Chief Executive John Gallegos. “We’ve added new clients, expanded our staff and, most importantly, created campaigns that had a significant impact on our clients’ businesses.”
The agency has grown to about $25 million in annual revenue since its 2001 founding. Its client roster includes Cypress-based Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc.; the California Milk Processor Board in San Clemente; Comcast Corp.; Clorox Co.; and Foster Farms.
The industry ranking was part of Ad Age’s 2015 Agency A-List, which named digital shop R/GA in New York as agency of the year, followed by Deutsch; 360i; Weber Shandwick; 72andSunny; Droga5; Anomaly; La Comunidad; Rosetta; and BBDO.
“The transformation in communications and marketing only makes it more important to spotlight the new best practices and excellence in execution, which is what the Agency A-List does,” Matt Quinn, executive editor of Advertising Age, said in a statement.
He said A-List agencies are “collectively defining the future of the industry.”
