HEALTHCARE
Heart valve maker Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) climbed 2.6% to $87.20 a share with a $54 billion market cap. The Irvine-based firm said this morning at its annual investor conference it expects 2021 global sales of $4.9-$5.3 billion, indicating annual growth in the mid-teens. Analysts expect Edwards to post $5.1 billion in 2021 global sales.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) rose 5% to $29.73 and a $940 million market cap. Shares in the artificial intelligence media company are up 25% in the last week, since it announced and closed a $63.8 million upsized public offering of common stock.
