Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was off 0.5% at 4,003.50.
The Dow 30 dropped 0.1% to 32,151.31.
The Nasdaq slid 1.3% to 11,655.15.
Crude oil jumped 2% to $112.71 a barrel.
Gold was up 0.2% at $1,812 an ounce.
The yield on a 10-year bond fell 2.2% to 2.871%.

ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN) fell 7.3% to $24.76 per share and a $21.8 billion market cap. Shares for the Irvine electric vehicle maker have been off about 86% since their 52-week high last November when the company went public.

TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Viant Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: DSP) climbed 8.6% to $5.57 and a $341 million market cap. UBS today upgraded the shares of the advertising software company from neutral to buy, increasing the target price from $5 to $8.

MeridianLink Inc. (NYSE: MLNK) dropped 2% to $16.24 per share and a $1.3 billion market cap. Credit Suisse on Monday maintained its neutral rating for the Costa Mesa provider of software for credit unions and banks, lowering the company’s price target to $19 from $22.
