Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P; 500 declined 0.3% to 4,571.32 in midday trading.

The Dow 30 was down 0.2% to 35,686.72.

The Nasdaq fell 1% to 14,350.28.

Crude oil rose 1.8% to $91.31 a barrel.

Gold increased 0.2% to $1,840.31 an ounce.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond jumped 4.7% to 4.5619%.

TECHNOLOGY 

Santa Ana-based TTM Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: TTMI) fell 19% to $11.64 and a $1.2 billion market cap. The maker of printed circuit boards yesterday forecast first-quarter revenue of $540 million to $580 million. The company said it is “seeing continued labor challenges along with normal seasonality associated with Chinese New Year and one less week in the quarter compared to the fourth quarter.”

MEDICAL DEVICES

 

Shares in Envista Holdings Corporation (NYSE: NVST) climbed 8.7% to $47.86 per share and a $7.7 billion market cap. The Brea-based dental products provider yesterday reported fourth-quarter sales and profit that topped analysts’ consensus estimates.
