The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3% to 33,879.29 while the Nasdaq declined 0.1% to 14,074.42.
Crude oil rose 1.6% to $63.97 a barrel.
Gold was down 0.2% to $1,775 an ounce.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury increased 1.3% to 1.643%.
ELECTRONICS
Vizio Holding Corp. (NYSE: VZIO) increased 7.6% to $26.63 and a $4.9 billion market cap. Shares of the Irvine-based supplier of TVs have climbed 27% since it went public on March 25.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Orange-based Alignment Healthcare Inc. climbed 2.4% to $26.62 and a $4.7 billion market cap. Volume was about a tenth of its daily average. Shares of the provider of Medicare Advantage insurance plans are now up about 48% since its IPO on March 26.
