CSUF Arts Gets Warhol $100K

The Grand Central Art Center in downtown Santa Ana received a $100,000 grant from the New York City-based Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The center will use the grant to support its artist-in-residence program over the next two years, center Director and Chief Curator John Spiak said.

It’s the second Warhol Foundation grant the center has received since 2014, when it was awarded $100,000 and used the funds for the same purpose, he said.

The center is part of California State University-Fullerton’s College of the Arts. It also partners with the city of Santa Ana. The 45,000-square-foot facility includes live-work studio spaces for visual-art graduate students and its artist-in-residence program.
