Long Beach Airport passenger traffic grew 11% year-over-year in March to $356,000.

JetBlue carried 276,000 passengers—a number that will begin to decline after September 5 when the carrier cuts its flights by one-third at the facility.

Southwest Airlines had 46,000 passengers, Delta Air Lines had 18,000, and American Airlines had about 15,500.

All carriers saw year-over-year increases from about 7% to 36%.

Air cargo—largely FedEx and UPS shipments—declined 25% in March to 1,600 tons.
