Veritone Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) in Irvine declined 13% to $24.91 and a $373 million market cap. Its shares had risen 43% in the first two trading days this week.
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) rose 4.1% to $8.60 and a $229 million market cap. The company said yesterday that it acquired the four-store operations of Wood’s Boots Inc. in Texas. It also said Hurricane Harvey caused the closure of only two of its 20 stores in the Houston area due to significant flooding.
