Tri Pointe Group Inc. in Irvine was down 3.3% to $12.44 and a $2 billion market cap. Starwood Capital Group said it sold its remaining 12 million shares in the company because of disappointment over the home builder’s stock performance.
American Vanguard Corp. in Newport Beach was up 5.8% to $16.77 and a $493 million market cap on above average volume. The company makes chemicals for commercial and consumer use.
Auxilio Inc. in Mission Viejo was up 3.3% to $4.78 and a $39 million market cap. Analysts at Benchmark initiated coverage on the company with a “buy” rating and a $7 price target. Earlier this month B. Riley initiated coverage on the company with a “buy” rating and a target of $7.80. Auxilio provides print management and information technology security services to hospitals and health systems.
