Four Orange County-based firms made the Financial Times’ fourth annual list of the top 300 registered investment advisers in the United States.

The list included firms with $300 million or more in assets under management and rate of asset growth, which could be considered a proxy for performance. The paper presented the list as an unranked group.

The list includes: Apriem Advisors of Irvine; Eclectic Associates of Fullerton; and Bahnsen Group and United Capital Financial Advisers of Newport Beach.

SEIA LLC, where Newport Beach-based Mark Copeland is one of the four founding partners, was also named to the list; SEIA's headquarters is in Los Angeles.
