Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) stepped up 3% to $16.41, a fresh 52-week high and a $430 million market cap on light pre-holiday volume. The Irvine-based seller of western wear is now up to about 220 stores in the U.S.

HEALTHCARE

Presbia PLC (NASDAQ: LENS) was down another 15% to $3.70 and a $66 million market cap. The eye care device maker and developer replaced its chief executive, cut expenses, as it abandoned U.S. marketing efforts—pre-FDA approval--of its Flexivue Microlens. The Irvine based, Ireland chartered ophthalmic company disclosed in an SEC filing it is actively raising capital and has received a proposal by an affiliate of its largest shareholder to buy $5 million in preferred shares.
