The price of gold fell 0.4% to $1,253.
San Clemente-based Glaukos Corp. fell 6.6% to $48.12 and a market cap of $1.6 billion. A Barron’s article suggested shares in the eye care device maker may fall as much as 30% over the next 12 months as it attracts competition. Glaukos shares have tripled in the past year.
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. in Irvine climbed 3.5% to $10.16 and a $270 million market cap on moderate volume.
