The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was down 0.7% to 1.38%.
The price of gold was down 0.3% to $1,359.
Orange County homebuilders were up in a strong market.
Irvine-based CalAtlantic Group Inc. was up 3.5% to $39.53 and a $4.7 billion market. Irvine-based Tri Pointe Group Inc. was up 3.5% to $12.73 and a $2.1 billion market cap. Newport Beach-based William Lyon Homes was up 4.4% to $16.52 and a $521 million market cap. Aliso Viejo-based New Home Co. Inc. was up 2.6% to $9.75 and a $203 million market cap.
