Anaheim-based Willdan Group Inc. was up 3.9% to $10.91 and an $89 million market cap on news of a two-year, $2.8 million contract with Puget Sound Energy to implement an energy efficiency program to the Washington-area utility’s lodging industry customers.
Newport Beach-based CV Holdings Inc. was up 19.9% to 17 cents and a $6.6 million market cap on high volume. The REIT, which manages non-performing loans and lender-owned properties, had traded shares by midday at a rate 35 times its 90-day average.
