Irvine-based Sabra Health Care REIT Inc. said today that it bought four nursing homes in Maryland for $234 million.
The four facilities specialize in transitional care and medically complex post-surgical, ventilator and dialysis patients, Sabra said in a release. The facilities have a total of 678 licensed beds.
Sabra released the news of the deal after the market closed for the day. Shares of Sabra closed down 1% to a market value of about $1.6 billion.
