The maker of devices to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms yesterday reported a steeper second quarter loss year-over-year—$13 million compared with $9 million—that also missed analyst expectations. The company’s shares were downgraded this morning from “buy” to “hold” at Cannacord Genuity.
Irvine-based Masimo Corp. was up 2% to $41.87 and a $2.2 billion market cap. The device maker is set to report earnings after markets close today.
