Five Orange County auto dealership groups made Automotive News’ list of the top 125 in the country.
The Detroit-based trade publication ranked the groups by the number of new vehicles sold last year.
David Wilson Automotive Group in Orange placed No. 13 with 36,019 new cars and trucks sold. It reported owning 16 dealerships that brought in $1.64 billion in revenue.
The Conant Auto Retail Group, with headquarters in Newport Beach, was ranked No. 23. It sold 22,869 new cars and light trucks at 10 dealerships in California and Florida, including Norm Reeves Acura in Mission Viejo and Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach. The group reported $926 million in revenue for the year.
Tuttle-Click Automotive Group in Irvine ranked No. 54, with 15,179 new cars and light trucks sold at 16 dealerships. It reported $824.9 million in revenue.
Piercey Automotive Group, which owns Honda World in Westminster and four other dealerships, ranked No. 58. It sold 14,658 new vehicles for $584.9 million in revenue.
Noarus Auto Group in Garden Grove came in at No. 122, with 8,116 new cars and light trucks sold at OC Nissan, Toyota Place in Irvine and four other dealerships. It reported $370 million in revenue.
