The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau announced a raft of additions to its sales department as part of a plan to beef up local and national sales.
The additions include Dana Pickle, who was hired as director of convention sales for the central U.S., along with Kara Bowman, tapped as director of meeting sales for the mid-Atlantic’s non-convention center business.
Other hires include eastern region Director of Meeting Sales Victoria Diaz, along with sales coordinators Elsie Ordoñez, Maggie Davis and Taylor Fry.
“Our staffing shifts represent our objective to ease ability of our customers to do business with Anaheim/Orange County and address demand from the marketplace that lies within new and emerging markets,” said Bureau President and Chief Executive Jay Burress in a news release. “The additional support from our coordinators enables us to respond quickly to customer needs and provide valuable experience to our young meeting professionals who aspire to future leadership roles within our organization and industry.”
