Ingram Micro Inc. in Santa Ana has launched a new logo, a part of rebranding effort aimed at reinforcing “agility, insight and dependability” as its top qualities.

The company also has a new tagline: “Ingram Micro helps businesses realize the promise of technology.”

“This is more than a logo change—we view this brand refresh as an investment in our future,” Chief Executive Alain Monié said in a news release.

The company also released a 2-minute promotional video titled “This, is Ingram Micro,” which showcases various aspects of the operations of the distribution giant: its 2013 revenue was $42.6 billion; it has 21,800 employees, it ranks 69 on the Fortune 500; it has 12.4 million square feet of warehouse space around the world—an area about the size of Monaco—and handles 44 million orders every year.
