The Anaheim Convention Center's largest show of the year kicked off today for its four-day run here.
The Carlsbad-based National Association of Music Merchants' annual show is expected to draw more than 96,000 people to the convention center with an estimated $91.5 million economic impact to the area.
NAMM serves as a venue for musicians, manufacturers, retailers and sales representatives to gather and see the latest music products.
More than 1,600 companies are exhibiting at this year's show, with about 280 of those new to the show.
Anaheim has been host to the trade show since 1978.
