Knott's to Add Three Kids Rides

Knott’s Berry Farm on Tuesday revealed specific plans for the revitalization of its Camp Snoopy children’s area.

The Buena Park theme park, part of Sandusky, Ohio-based theme park operator Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., said it will add three rides to Camp Snoopy: Charlie Brown's Kite Flyer, Pig Pen's Mud Buggies, and Linus Launcher.

The park announced last year an overall restoration of Camp Snoopy—a project that began this month and is expected to be completed in early summer.

The section of the park, which is themed off of the Peanuts cartoon characters, turns 30 this year.

The project is part of a larger capital improvement project for the park that includes a refurbishment of the Calico Mine Ride, also expected to reopen in early summer.
