Newport Beach-based American Restaurant Holdings Inc. is looking to grow through purchases of restaurants or food manufacturing companies.

The company formed following Focus Entertainment International Inc.'s purchase of American Restaurants LLC through a reverse merger that took American Restaurant Holdings public.

The company is now traded over the counter.

American Restaurant Holdings said it’s currently eyeing a number of potential purchases, mostly in Southern California, with a focus on quick-service, fast-casual and casual restaurant formats that cater to the company's target demographic of 18- to 30 year olds.
