Foothill Ranch-based Wet Seal Inc. announced two promotions within its namesake teen division.
The company operates 468 Wet Seal stores for teens and 62 Arden B stores geared toward young women.
Kim Bajrech is now senior vice president, general merchandising manager of apparel for the division.
Debbie Shinn was promoted to senior vice president, general merchandising manager of accessories and ready-to wear for the division.
The two headed up merchandising for the division following the October departure of former Chief Merchandising Officer Harriet Sustarsic.
The appointments, effective March 25, come as the company looks to turnaround the business with a strategy focused on fast fashion.
Wet Seal said it expects a loss of $2.7 million to $5.3 million for the April quarter with net sales of $135 million to $139 million. The guidance, given last month, missed analyst estimates for the quarter.
