BJ’s CEO to Step Back, New President HiredMonday, October 29, 2012
Huntington Beach-based restaurant operator BJ’s Restaurants Inc. has hired Gregory Trojan as president.
Trojan’s appointment is effective Dec. 3, and he will have a seat on the company’s board.
Chairman, Chief Executive and President Gerald Deitchle is set to retire Feb. 1, when Trojan will add the chief executive’s duties
Deitchle is expected to remain board chairman.
BJ’s is Orange County’s second largest restaurant operator based here with $620.9 million in revenue last year and 127 restaurants.
The company closed on Friday down about 16% to $32 for a market value of $901 million. The markets were closed Monday.
