San Juan Capistrano-based toilet tank valve maker Fluidmaster Inc. has partnered with Mexico’s construction company Grupo Lamosa to provide parts for a line of high-end toilets under the Vortens brand, which is sold throughout in the U.S.

Mansfield, Ohio-based Vortens is the plumbing fixtures arm of Lamosa, which is based in a suburb of Monterrey.

Lamosa manufactures ceramic tiles, adhesives, and bathroom fixtures. It also has a real estate division, which manages residential and commercial properties.

The company saw $646.8 million in revenue last year, about $136 million of which were through exports.

The housing sector in the U.S. is “the main client” for its sanitary products exports, according to the company.

Vortens sells to wholesale distributors and contractors in the U.S. and Canada.
