Anaheim-based luxury hybrid automaker Fisker Automotive Inc. hired Jim Yost as chief financial officer.

Yost replaces Joe DaMour, who will continue to work with Fisker Chief Executive Tom LaSorda to provide consulting on special projects, according to company spokesman Roger Ormisher.

Yost joins Fisker after having served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Maumee, Ohio-based driveline product supplier Dana Holding Corp.

Yost has also worked at Northville, Mich.-based wheel manufacturer Hayes Lemmerz International Inc. and Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Mich.
