The president of Irvine-based action sports apparel maker La Jolla Group is no longer with the company.
Bill Bussiere's departure from the company was confirmed by a company spokeswoman.
Bussiere had served as La Jolla’s president and chief financial officer since 2009, reporting to Chief Executive Toby Bost.
Bussiere oversaw day-to-day operations at La Jolla Group, which has the license to make clothes under brands such as O’Neill, Rusty, Metal Mulisha and others.
La Jolla declined comment on Bussiere’s departure through its spokeswoman.
It’s unclear where Bussiere will go next or if he has plans to stay within the action sports industry.
Bussiere joined La Jolla from Huntington Beach-based apparel maker Quiksilver Inc. where he had spent 11 years in various executive positions.
Quiksilver sells clothes and accessories inspired by surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding.
Bussiere has also worked at Quiksilver's DC Shoes division, Nevada-based outdoor clothing company Patagonia Inc. and Cypress-based Manhattan Beachwear LLC’s swimsuit company Apparel Ventures Inc.
