High-Rise Pitch

Real estate marketing shop Amies Communications has grabbed work representing luxury high-rise condominiums.

The Irvine firm handled project identity, collateral materials, media outreach, Web site development, presales events, advertising creative and media buys for The Plaza-Irvine and 3000 The Plaza, developed by Opus West Corp. and Geoffrey H. Edmunds California Inc., both of Arizona.

For Skyline at MacArthur, developed by Santa Ana-based Nexus Cos., Amies created a Web site, designed the advertising and handled media relations. The marketing plan also used computer visualization and video, which was provided by film production firm Merit/Andrew Inc. of Irvine, said Jessica Spaulding, Amies’ president.

“The greatest challenge for high-rise sales and marketing is creating a sense for a potential buyer/resident of this new living experience,” Spaulding said.
