TICKET SALES FOR PREFERRED SEATING ENDS AT 12:00 NOON (PACIFIC) MARCH 9, 2012. Day-of-event ticket sales will be available March 21, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. at Hyatt Regency Irvine (open seating only; limited number of seats available). THE EXCELLENCE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM is designed to recognize individuals who exemplify the American entrepreneurial spirit – individuals who, by their creativity and determination, have established and nurtured successful business ventures. Entrepreneurs are a powerful economic force, especially in a down market. More than half of the companies on the 2009 Fortune 500 list were launched during a recession or bear market, pointing to the fact that new firms generate jobs and promote growth in the economy (http://www. entrepreneurship.gov). This is the perfect opportunity to recognize clients or business associates who have distinguished themselves by their foresight, determination and accomplishments. THE CFO OF THE YEAR AWARDS are presented annually in January to area financial professionals for outstanding performance as corporate stewards for the preceding fiscal year. Awards are presented in five categories: Outstanding CFO of a Public Co.; Outstanding CFO of a Private Co.; Outstanding CFO of a Not-for-Profit Organization; Up & Coming financial professional (open to senior-level executives); and Lifetime Achievement. The program is in its fifth year and is presented in association with the CalCPA Orange County/Long Beach Chapter. | |
